Does your Townhouse have its own private pool?

Absolutely! Sunset Palms has a private, in-ground swimming pool surrounded by a spacious deck area with ample loungers and chairs.   The pool itself is surrounded by a safety fence which is required by law for us to provide but is removable at your discretion.  Our pool is optionally-heated for your comfort, although please note that prevailing local weather conditions will affect the water temperature.  Our pool is southwest-facing and gets plenty of sunlight, and is also illuminated for swimming at night after you’ve been out shopping or visiting the parks all day.

What is the star-rating of your Townhouse?

Florida vacation homes are not yet subject to a system of classification. However, ours has been furnished and equipped to very high standards.  We take a great deal of pride in our home and work hard to maintain it and keep it looking luxurious!  Please see the Reviews page on our HomeAway ad for further details.

What are the benefits of staying in a Townhouse instead of a hotel?

In a few words – space, cost, amenities, comfort and privacy.  Large bedrooms that rival any hotel room.  Fully-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities.  And of course all the living space – making the ideal place for families or extended families and friends. You have all the benefits of being close to each other, but enough space to have some ‘me time’.  Cost is more than favorable to a hotel – 4 bedrooms in a hotel would cost considerably more than renting a 4 bedroom Townhouse.  Privacy – you have your own private pool and deck area to relax in.  Plus you get to come to breakfast in your pajamas if you feel like it!

What are the benefits of a resort community?

Staying in a resort community will enhance your vacation considerably. This is because you have all the benefits of a private Townhouse but also the facilities you would expect from a luxury resort or hotel. There are two resort pools, play areas, a fitness center, business center and so much more!  All this, with the comfort of a 24×7 security gate.  We cannot emphasize enough the difference a resort Townhouse makes to a vacation over a hotel or residential home. We ourselves started out as vacationers who became “spoiled” by resort living.

Does the Townhouse have a telephone?

Yes. It will accept all incoming calls and make local / long-distance calls (US only).  For international calls we recommend the purchase of a prepaid phone card available at the Clubhouse.

About Us!

Many of our guests like to know a little bit about the people from whom they are renting a home, so we thought we would take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you.  We are Vincent and Lisa, and currently live in the New York City vicinity.  We are avid travelers to all sorts of destinations, but have a special place in our hearts for Florida! This is what led us to buy our home there, Sunset Palms at the Encantada Resort.  While the ‘rental game’ is hard work, we can honestly say that we have never looked back! We have had guests from literally all parts of the globe, from the Pacific Rim to Asia to all over Europe and North and South America! It’s been a great opportunity to meet all sorts of people, and we especially love helping first time visitors to Florida plan their holiday of a lifetime.  We travel to Florida often and really appreciate being able to enjoy spending time there. Our goal is to make sure you enjoy it as much as we do!
